Lead Member Economy agreement sought for ESCC to act as Accountable Body for the programme.

Pending approval the Lead Member, full delivery plan proposal developed in partnership with allocated DWP lead with input from ESCC Departments, finance and legal teams

 

Local provision mapped to ensure that DWP delivery models can be implemented locally.

December 2024

DWP checks and approves proposal, amends submitted

 

Employment and Skills Team develops procurement framework with input from ESCC department specialists

 

DWP issues grant agreement for ESCC signature

January 2025- February 2025

ESCC procurement and contracting process undertaken.

 

ESCC management systems developed, and project management and delivery staff are trained to ensure swift adoption.

 

Project EQIA and DPIAs will be completed.

 

Employer engagement activity, marketing materials and social media campaign created/distributed.

February – April 2025

Contracts issued to delivery partners.

New contractors supported to implement new staffing models, IPS delivery frameworks, new systems and quality assurance measures to enable immediate delivery.

Training for contractors and internal delivery staff to ensure consistency.

April/May 2025

Phased Programme delivery begins.
